Brady Lang, founder of Parkland Valley Sports Project
For the third straight hockey season, Parkland Valley Sports is back with more local action on the ice, starting the 2026-27 broadcast year in Yorkton.
The first livestream will feature the Sask East Oilers U16 AA program on Wednesday, kicking off the first full year of broadcasts, highlights and local interactive sports content throughout the southeastern Saskatchewan region and beyond!
From day one, the goal of Parkland Valley Sports was to create more accessible sports broadcasts, with a premium and localized twist. As these past three years have come and gone, we’ve been able to capture and archive some of the regions sports history, while also seeing ups and downs of building a sustainable remote broadcast to highlight local athletes.
This past offseason, the Parkland Valley Sports project reinvested to improve the quality, sustainability and connectivity of the overall product, which now also includes instant replay and new segments of the broadcast that will ensure faster turnaround for highlights and memorable clips throughout the rinks, on the field and on the court.
We’re starting off with U16AA action and are preparing to be the region’s home for local grassroots coverage all year long on the ice. From the next generation of elite prospects to senior hockey in Saskatchewan, livestreams, highlights and localized content, we’re looking to bring that to our growing audience.
